This notice describes the information connected with Genesis, a Scripture-centered companion for Bible reading, AI study, ministry discovery, and shared worship content.
1. Who we are
Genesis is operated by
Raphex International RIC LTD, incorporated in Nigeria. This page is a public draft of our privacy practices. For privacy questions or requests, contact
support.genesiscompanion@raphexint.com.
2. Information we handle
Depending on how you use Genesis, information may include your account name and email address; Bible translation, language, theme, biometric, and notification preferences saved to your account; reading appearance choices and bookmarks stored in your browser; notes and other content you choose to save; AI queries and prompts sent to Ask Genesis and conversations you choose to save; voice transcripts created when you choose microphone input; ministry projection session and screen-content information you submit; and subscription status or checkout transaction details. Payment card details are handled through Paystack checkout rather than being entered into Genesis’s own account form. Do not include sensitive personal information in study prompts or projected content.
3. Why we use information
We use information to provide and maintain account access, Bible reading and study features, saved conversations, ministry discovery and projection, plan access and payment processing, account communications, support, and service security. Bible version, language, theme, biometric, and notification preferences are stored with your account so they can be loaded when you sign in on another device. Reading appearance choices and bookmarks remain in browser storage.
We do not sell your personal information, notes, or AI queries.
4. Services and providers
- Supabase: authentication, account data, application data, and Edge Functions that route app requests.
- Paystack: checkout and payment processing for paid plans.
- YouTube: video links and content surfaced for ministry media.
- Google Fonts: font files used to display the interface.
Ask Genesis prompts are sent through a Supabase Edge Function to the AI service configured for the app. Account emails use the SMTP provider configured for Supabase Auth. When you choose microphone input, your browser’s speech-recognition service processes speech into a transcript, which is sent to Ask Genesis; the exact speech provider depends on your browser and its privacy terms. Speak uses your browser’s speech-synthesis feature to read text aloud.
The exact AI-service vendor and SMTP email vendor are not named in the client code and must be confirmed and named here before public or app-store release.
5. Storage, security, and retention
Account and application data, including Bible version, language, theme, biometric, and notification preferences, is handled through Supabase services. Reading appearance choices and bookmarks are stored in local browser storage. We use the controls made available by these services and take reasonable steps to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain account and saved content while needed to provide the service, meet operational needs, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable obligations. Local preferences remain until cleared in your browser; ask us to review or remove account information where applicable.
6. Requests and privacy choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, or to ask a question about its use. We will review and respond subject to identity checks, applicable law, and any information we must retain. You can clear local bookmarks and reading appearance choices through your browser’s site-data controls; account preferences can be changed in General Settings. Contact
support.genesiscompanion@raphexint.com.
7. Local storage and cookies
Genesis uses browser storage for reading appearance choices and bookmarks. Your Bible version, language, theme, biometric preference, and notification choices are synced to your account through Supabase. Supabase authentication may use browser cookies or related storage to maintain a session. Your browser can block or clear these controls, though some features may then stop working. This draft does not make a claim about whether analytics or other tracking technologies are used; that must be checked against the complete production configuration.
8. Children and age requirement
Genesis is intended for people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate steps.
9. International processing
Supabase, Paystack, the configured AI service, and the SMTP provider may process information in locations outside Nigeria, including where their infrastructure or service operations are based. This can involve different data-protection rules. The exact AI and SMTP vendor names and relevant processing locations should be confirmed before release.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this notice as Genesis’s features and providers change. We will update the date below when the draft is revised and, where appropriate, provide notice through the service or account email.
